"Ion" parody
In the second semester of the 10th grade this year, we had a project for Romanian, in which teams of 6 people had to make a short film that included the adaptation of several scenes from a work studied during the year. The work I and my team picked was the novel "Ion" by Liviu Rebreanu, and we chose a more unconventional approach, namely a parody. Besides the accuracy of the events, it seemed fun to add some jokes specific to teenagers today, and so we combined the traditional atmosphere and the contemporary comedy. I contributed with the choice of scenes, scenario writing, video shooting and editing. My favorite part was editing, because I want to master the Adobe Premiere Pro video editing program, so this project was a good opportunity to put my skills to the test.
Proiectul Erasmus+ "Început de carieră în IT"
The Erasmus+ project "IT Career Startup" is an educational project in which I will take part from May 27th to June 16th, 2018; it involves the development of web design skills using the Adobe Creative Cloud software called Dreamweaver. This project involves a period of 3 weeks in which students from 4 Romanian highschools will go to foreign countries to practice web design in host institutions. The moment I heard about this project, I had already begun to learn web design for a few weeks, because I found it interesting to have such a skill, so it was an interesting coincidence and I signed up without hesitation.
Web design
I spend a lot of my time on the internet, whether I do it for school, communication, information, or simply for entertainment, so I'm exposed to various sites often. As a result, the structure and design of these sites catched my eye, and as a result of a bit of documentation I found out that their appearance is due to languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I thought it might not be too hard for me to learn such languages, being already familiar with C++ from computer science class, and when I got to study them I was surprised to see that there were major differences, from logic to usage. I especially liked how practical web design was, and I quickly captured how it works; with the help of different websites I began to learn web design for pleasure in my free time.
My book collection
Until the 5th grade I hated reading and did not understand why my parents insisted that I read so much. But my opinion was changed when I was presented with a series of books from the Arthur publishing house, which, I admit, drew my attention through the beautifully colored covers. I decided to buy a few, and I noticed I like reading a lot. So, every month I bought at least one Arthur book. After a few years I've already started to order from the Internet, from other publishers, and go to the bookstore, and reading has become one of my hobbies. When they started accumulating, I realized I needed my own bookcase, so I installed shelves on which I kept collecting books. My future plan is to increase my collection as much as possible, because no matter how much I read, there is always something new on my wishlist.

Drawing
Not even a year has passed since I started to draw, but it is already one of the greatest passions I have ever had. I've always been told that I have the potential to draw in art classes, but I never took it seriously because I didn't agree, even though I liked to draw. One day I asked myself, why not try to take it seriously? Thus, with the help of internet tutorials, I started to become better and better at drawing. Although I am well aware that I have a lot of progress to make, I am pleased to see that every day I draw better and better. I intend to become as talented as I can at this art, because it helps me relax and develop.
