Reading
My literature tastes vary a lot and that's the reason why, when I choose a book to read, I don't have any criteria: whether it's old, contemporary, about love, historic, the only thing that matters for me is for it to be a real book. I tried reading online multiple times, but for me there's nothing better than the smell and texture of the paper. I always keep up with my favorite authors (John Green, Rainbow Rowell, Rick Riordan), but I also try classics (universal or traditional romanian books).Music
I'm rarely not listening to music: when I'm doing my homework, going to school, sometimes even when I'm eating, I always make sure there's a song in the background. Just like literature, my tastes don't fit in one box. Some of my preferences include hip-hop, pop, R&B, house and rock. Since I'm inspired by the artists I listen to, I started playing the ukulele, and I hope that in the future I'll be able to play it easily.
Movies
I always make sure I watch at least a movie every week. Usually I enjoy the quality and the visual effects best, so I prefer to watch new movies, but if the subject is interesting, I can appreciate older movies too. It may seem childish, but my favorite type of movies is animations, because under the surface of playfulness and infantility, they have a very interesting and rather hard to notice message....but they aren't limited here!
Logic and strategy games
While some hobbies help me relax my mind, sometimes I feel the need for the opposite: to challenge it. Logic games are the perfect tool for this. I like to find solutions, to make connections, through games for either one player (mahjong, sudoku) or multiple players (chess, rummy).
Traveling
Even if I don't have a lot of time for traveling, I try to do it as often as possible. When I travel, I feel like I'm reinventing myself, as I expose myself to different traditions, meet new people or learn interesting things. My favorite place I have visited is the Danube Delta: I learned new things about the flora and the fauna or Romania by exploring it, and that's how I decided to visit as many natural environments as possible in the future.
